ESC plans to develop energy storage systems including lithium-ion battery and gravity battery solutions to help supply, distribution and management of renewable power generation.

The greatest challenge for renewable power generation such as solar and wind is delivering that power when consumers need electricity. Due to great variation in peak and off-peak demand, coupled with variation in generation conditions including sunlight and wind availability, losses occur where energy produced is not taken up by consumers or the grid. 

ESC Energy aims to harness as much of surplus energy generation as possible through it's energy storage projects.
